Tornado: Families Helping Families

A direct St. Isidore School and Parish community aid effort

In the late afternoon of Friday, September 21, a tornado destroyed the homes of numerous families whose children attend St.Isidore Catholic School. These victims are our friends, families, and neighbours. As they endeavour to rebuild their lives we want to offer our immediate and ongoing support.

The staff, parent community and local parish are ready to provide comprehensive outreach that includes direct financial support. All funds will be managed by the registered charitable organization of St. Isidore Parish. 100% of donations will be provided to our families by identifying your contribution as TFHF.

Donations can be made by: Credit Card / PayPal  / Cheque or Cash. Income tax receipts are available.

To contribute using Credit Card or PayPal:
  1. Click on this Donate icon → Donate
  2. Click the drop down arrow in the box under “FUND”
  3. Select TFHF and proceed with donation.
  4. Receive Income Tax receipt immediately by e-mail
To contribute by cheque:
  1. Make cheque payable to St. Isidore Parish noting TFHF
  2. Mail to St. Isidore Parish, 1135 March Rd, R.R.1 Kanata, ON K2K 1X7 
  3. Income Tax receipt will be sent to your return address

To contribute with cash:
  1. Place in sealed envelope denoting TFHF
  2. Provide a return address if Income Tax receipt is request
  3. Deposit in collection basket during church services or drop off at the School or Parish offices.

The Tornado: Families Helping Families Fund  ( TFHF ) has the focused goal of embracing our families with immediate and ongoing assistance. Whether you want to help because of a special bond to our St. Isidore School Community or a desire to help people in need, we greatly value your generosity, kindness and concern.

In addition to individual donations, we also welcome corporate and small business contributions. Corporations and local businesses will be formally recognized.
